Eight stereo iterations of the YAMAHA DX7.
This tone module runs MiniDexed, a programmable FM synthesizer that faithfully replicates the sound of eight DX7 instances, similar to the legendary TX816 and TX802.
MiniDexed operates "bare metal," directly on the Raspberry Pi, eliminating the need for loading a Linux kernel or operating system.
This compact plug-and-play unit comes fully assembled, measuring approximately 3x1.5 inches and standing at 2 inches in height. It's primed for immediate use, compatible with class-complaint USB MIDI controllers. The eight DX7 instances can be configured to correspond to MIDI channels 1-16, with the flexibility to adjust these settings and more through the intuitive menu.
